Garden Fresh Foods Inc. recalled sliced green onions distributed in bulk packaging after finding Listeria monocytogenes contamination during in-house testing. These green onions pose a listeriosis risk to food service businesses and manufacturers that received them.

Class IA reasonable probability that eating this product will cause serious health problems or death.

Reason for recall

Possible positive Listeria monocytogenes. Firm tested one lot of sliced green onions in-house and found Listeria monocytogenes.
